About the role

As Strategic Philanthropy Manager you will play an integral role in the Strategic Philanthropy team’s success. By providing support for the engagement, cultivation and solicitation of UCL’s most significant relationships, including global philanthropists, family trusts and foundations and corporate supporters, to enable us to secure philanthropic income at the seven- and eight-figure level.

You will project managing the development and execution of coordinated strategies aimed to maximise the engagement and support of a portfolio of high net worth partners. You will play a critical role in connecting with academics, professional services staff and senior leadership, coordinating across UCL to build strategically significant relationships aligned with philanthropic objectives.

We are happy to consider applications to work on a part-time, flexible and job share basis wherever possible (minimum 0.8 FTE – equivalent of 4 days per week, stat ed salary to be pro-rata).

This role is eligible for hybrid working with a minimum of 20% on site.

About you

With experience of building relationships with high-level global philanthropists and stakeholders. You will have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. A strategic thinker you will have a proven ability to grasp and navigate a range of concepts, relate them to one another, and translate those concepts into strategies and practical actions. You will have experience of communicating complex information to a lay audience and influencing multiple parties through proposals, reports and presentations, both in writing and in person.
