The Engineering Delivery Platform (EDP) aims to completely transform the way in which JLR operates to deliver our core activity of Product Creation from Idea to End of Life across the JLR enterprise.  We have a clear vision to deliver a unified end to end process and toolset with connected, traceable data throughout all functions. We are seeking an experienced IT Business Strategy & Customer Relationship Manager (CRM) with a strong focus on portfolio governance to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the CRM strategic governance of the overall EDP product portfolio, ensuring alignment with business stakeholder objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk management standard.

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Oversee the customer relationship within the EDP overall Portfolio. 
  • Serve as the primary EDP Customer focal point for executive stakeholders, providing regular updates on portfolio performance, risk exposure, and key initiatives.
  • Produce CRM strategy roadmaps focusing on the key JLR Objectives & Key Results (OKRs) ensuring all EDP solutions are delivered inline with customer expectations.  
  • Conduct regular EDP factory portfolio reviews to assess the performance, health, and alignment of projects and products with strategic objectives and JLR governance standards.
  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with the project and product portfolios 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project management, product management, other domain focal points in Industrial & operations, legal, compliance, and risk management, to address governance-related issues and drive continuous improvement.

 

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

 

Essential:

  • Proven track record of successfully leading business change teams with a customer first mindset 
  • Managing complex project and product portfolios 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail and the ability to think strategically.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to project and product governance (e.g.,  GDPR,  SAFE Lean Portfolio).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with portfolio management tools and methodologies (e.g., SAFE / Agile)
