Developing a deep knowledge of diverse business areas, their needs, and priorities, looking at the bigger picture to make sure that the business understands the financial implications of decisions and available choicesSupporting the Finance Business Partners in producing accurate periodic financial information in line with company accounting policies to their respective directorates in the form of a reporting pack with a full commentary on the financial performance each period along with initiative trackingPreparing data and information for the Business Partners to enable the development of the annual budget, business plan and other statistical / statutory informationIdentifying and analysing areas of costs to the business on a regular basis, providing options to FBPs for reviewClosely liaising with the business to ensure any future changes are incorporated within the quarterly forecast and annual budget and business plan submissionsSupporting the FBP’s with all periodic reconciliations related to their respective directorates. Ensuring all are completed in a timely basis and adequate supporting information is providedAssisting the Financial Planning Manager and Business Partners with any ad hoc requests or project workBuilding financial and commercial awareness of non-finance staff within the business

The Individual:
Part Qualified or ‘Qualified by Experience’2 years of experience within a finance or strategy roleStrong Excel and data analysis skillsA high level of competence in budget management, planning and forecasting
