**About the Role**:
**Base Location**: Glasgow, Perth or Reading
**Salary**: £63,000 - £94,400 + car / car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing and family.
**Working Pattern**: 18 Month Fixed Term Contract | Full Time | Flexible First options available
The Finance Business Partner is focussed on performance improvement, business analysis & insight, strategic business planning, budgeting & forecasting activities.
Working in a matrix structure the Finance Business Partner will provide timely and effective support and challenge to Senior Business Management stakeholders, as well as maintaining responsibility for the delivery of the monthly forecast, annual budget and 5 year & 10 year plans as well as the cash flow position for the Business over these periods.
In this role, the Finance Business Partner is responsible for the accountabilities listed below at the business organisation level, and reports directly to the Head of Finance.
- Key business partnering activities such as business analysis and insights.
- Strategic business planning, budgeting & forecasting (both short & long term).
- Process improvement.
- Working closely with the Business's Senior Management team.
**What do I need?**:
To be considered for this role, we would love you to:
- Be a fully qualified accountant with relevant experience in a business-interfacing role, you will be familiar solving business issues of a similar scale and complexity.
- Be able to influence strategy and translate this into actionable programmes, opportunities or activities that result in an improved profitability or risk mitigation.
- Be able to manage multiple complex projects/processes simultaneously.
- Be able to interpret and assimilate multiple data sources, including external market data, rendering into meaningful insights, appropriate recommendations and clear actions.
- Be able to effectively communicate financial performance to operational colleagues to embed financial understanding within the business.
