We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Raw Materials Technologist to join our friendly and supportive technical team, in the Midlands. You will be responsible for sourcing, testing, and ensuring the quality of raw materials used across a wide range of fibres, fabrics and lingerie / swimwear componentry.

Raw Materials Technologist- The Role

Source and develop a range of product types including warp / weft fabrics, laces and embroideries and bra/swim components. Responsible for quality and risk assessment to ensure components meet stringent performance requirements. Conduct thorough testing and analysis of materials to ensure compliance with industry regulations and company specifications. Collaborate with design and production teams to select the best materials for new product development. Troubleshoot and resolve any material-related issues that arise during production. Maintaining ethical & legal standards in accordance with global legislation and contribute in driving sustainability strategy. Work within and manage approvals in line with the critical path. Raw Materials Technologist - The Person

Proven experience in a similar role within the fashion or textile industry, preferably in lingerie. Strong knowledge of raw materials, including fabrics, elastics, and trims. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
