About the Role:
We are seeking a highly organised and versatile Personal Assistant to support a GP Partner. The ideal candidate will manage both professional and personal tasks, ensuring smooth daily operations. This role offers a unique blend of administrative duties and personal assistance, providing comprehensive support in various areas.

Key Responsibilities:
Professional Duties:

  • Administrative Support: Handle office duties such as answering phones, managing emails, scheduling appointments, and liaising with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Document Management: Prepare, edit, and proofread documents, including reports, presentations, and correspondence.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records and manage data in Excel spreadsheets and other relevant software.
  • Dictation and Transcription: Accurately transcribe dictated notes and maintain confidential records.
  • Reception Duties: Greet patients and visitors, provide information, and ensure a welcoming environment.

Personal Assistance:
  • Errands and Logistics: Manage personal errands such as dry cleaning, grocery shopping, and other tasks as needed.
  • Driving: Provide transportation for the GP Partner as required.
  • Scheduling: Assist with organising personal and professional calendars, including social engagements and appointments.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Education: A degree is preferred but not required for candidates with relevant experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong grasp of grammar.
  • Organisational Skills: Strong ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and maintain attention to detail.
  • Presentation: Professional appearance and demeanour, with the ability to represent the GP Partner effectively.
  • Driving Licence: Valid driving licence and reliable access to transportation.

Personal Attributes:
  • Discretion and Confidentiality: Ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion.
  • Flexibility: Willingness to adapt to a varied schedule, including occasional evenings or weekends if required.
  • Initiative: Proactive and able to work independently, anticipating needs and managing tasks without constant supervision.
  • Reliability: Punctual and dependable, with a commitment to providing excellent support.

Additional Information:
  • Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is beneficial but not essential. Training will be provided for the right candidate.
