I am looking to recruit a Purchase Ledger Assistant for a large Not For Profit organisation in Leicester. This is an ideal role for someone who is looking for an immediate start, process driven Accounts Payable role.

Client Details

The organisation is a large-scale, well-established Not For Profit entity based in Leicester. They have adopted a brilliant hybrid working policy and offer their employees 4 days home working.

Description

The Purchase Ledger Assistant reports into the Accounts Payable Manager. Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Performing daily accounts payable tasks.
  • Processing high volumes of invoices daily.
  • Ensuring invoices, staff reimbursements and payment requests are processed accurately.
  • Handling supplier queries and reconciling supplier statements.
  • Maintaining accurate and complete financial records.
  • Adhering to all relevant industry regulations and standards.
  • Working collaboratively within the Accounting & Finance team.

Profile

A successful Purchase Ledger Assistant should have:

  • A good grasp of general accounting principles.
  • Prior experience working in a Finance/ Administrative background.
  • Aptitude for working with numbers and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under tight deadlines.
