You'll report directly into the Finance Manager - Revenue Assurance and manage the recognition and recording of the UK Consumer revenue. You'll work with a team of 3 Accountants who deliver the numbers for the UK & Irish businesses each month, including reporting and documenting controls, providing variance analysis, contracts reviews and commission plans.
What You'll Do
Responsibility of revenue accounting for Equifax UKEnsure system tracked revenue is recognised inline with expectationsPrepare monthly Balance Sheet analysis for Equifax UK contractsEnsure numbers are accurately reflected in the general ledger each month, including any reclassifications that may arisePreparation and presentation of month-end reports, commentaries and variance analysis to the Finance ManagerAccounting Partner for Sales Directors, Sales Managers and Account Managers relating to the consumer businessCommercial acumen to influence contract structure and negotiations to ensure optimum recognition within SOX requirementsInvolvement with, and occasional leadership of, multi-functional projects and business initiatives beyond the revenue departmentSupport the FP&A team in forecasting and budgetingDocumenting SOX controls, providing evidence to CorporateCo-ordinate with Auditors (Internal & External) on the revenue audit, including group reportingSupport Sales Commission Analyst to structure commission process, including paymentsCollaboration with EFX’s various outsource partners and internal teams that support the Bill to customer cycleSupport the production of customer invoices and management of authorization workflows
What experience You'll need
Have worked as a management accountant in a corporate environmentQualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)Managed revenue accounting and partnered with business developmentSME in Oracle Financials system for Monthly management accounts, Report writing and maintenance
