The role

As a Sales Assistant, you'll help create a welcoming and vibrant shop floor that excites customers. Your role is all about delivering fantastic customer service through product demonstrations and providing samples. Using your product knowledge and great customer service skills, you'll make sure every visitor to your shop leaves with a smile.

Greet customers warmly as they enter the store, making them feel welcome and valued right away. Engage with customers by asking open-ended questions to understand their needs and preferences. Listen carefully and provide personalised recommendations based on what they tell you.

Know your products inside and out, including ingredients, benefits, and how to use them. Be ready to explain why each product is great and how it can help the customer. You should be demonstrating products in every consultation, right on the customers' skin, showing how to use them effectively.

You'll be an excellent party host, helping our extra-special customers celebrate their big day, giving them an above-and-beyond experience in store. You'll make this fun, you will create an inclusive environment, something they'll take away and remember Lush by for years to come.

Give out samples tailored to the customer's needs, explaining how to use them for the best results. Build a rapport with regular customers by remembering their preferences and past purchases. Follow up with them to see how they liked previous products and suggest new items they might enjoy.

You'll help keep the shop floor clean, tidy, and visually appealing, ensuring products are displayed according to guidelines. As seasons and sales trends change, you'll assist in adjusting displays to maximise product visibility and sales. You'll work with the store manager to uphold high standards and keep the shop looking its best.

Key Responsibilities

Providing 5-star customer experience consistently, going above and beyond for our customers to be a day maker You will be a Lush Ambassador, championing our ethics and values during consultations Operating our till systems - you will be cash-handling trained Stocking products on the shop floor, ensuring our products are clean and inviting to customers Engage with customers through active listening to understand and establish their needs, recommend products, and provide relevant information and demonstrations. Providing sit-down consultations and bespoke routines to fulfil the customers' needs, including hand and arm massages Being adaptable and solutions-focused, as no two days in retail are the same Be an excellent party host. Skills and Experience

Customer Service: A genuine passion for delivering exceptional customer service and understanding customer needs

Teamwork: Capable of collaborating with team members to achieve store goals, and maintaining a positive and supportive work environment.

Communication: Strong verbal communication skills to engage customers, actively listen to their needs, and provide relevant product information.

Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances, handle challenging situations, and work effectively under pressure.

Problem-solving: Skill in identifying and resolving customer issues or complaints, finding appropriate solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
