Our Executive Chef Ross Cooper, is an advocate for supporting and training young chef’s starting out in their career. Our Cast Iron Bar & Grill is all about fresh, seasonal ingredients, traditional flavour combinations and time-honoured cooking methods, simple tasty food done right or you may be creating unforgettable memories for a wedding breakfast, corporate event or a high class sports team.

In addition to an hourly rate of £13.14 ensuring you are paid for every hour worked, we’ll support you in and out of the workplace by offering:

What you’ll be doing

  • Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes/menu

  • Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner

  • Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature

  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly

  • Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers

  • Use your creative flair and attention to detail to create dishes that put smiles on faces

What we're looking for

  • A Level 2 culinary qualification and we will fund your future training qualifications

With this role you will be working on a casual basis, we can offer hours when available – giving you the flexibility we all need in our life
