About the Apprenticeship

This exciting opportunity is available at Marriott Hotel, where you will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic kitchen environment. As a Demi CDP Apprentice, you will work alongside experienced chefs to prepare and cook a wide range of dishes, from classic recipes to innovative creations.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare fresh ingredients for cooking according to recipes and menus
  • Cook food and prepare top-quality menu items in a timely manner
  • Test foods to ensure proper preparation and temperature
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and responsibly
  • Ensure the proper sanitation and cleanliness of surfaces and storage containers
  • Support, train, and develop commis chefs in the team
  • Use your creative flair and attention to detail to create dishes that delight our guests

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Level 2 Professional Cookery qualification
  • Great teamwork skills and attention to detail
  • Positive outlook and outgoing personality
  • Previous kitchen experience

Training and Development

You will be working with Inspiro Learning, a leading provider of apprenticeships, to achieve your Level 3 Professional Cookery qualification.
