Purpose 
Reporting initially to Design & Development Manager, you will have responsibility for sales and service delivery to our ED2 Connections activity across all market segment, facilitating our customer's Net Zero and construction agendas.

Undertaking customer management responsibilities, providing customers with a single escalation point and portfolio managing wider work, you will be required to effectively communicate at all levels internally and externally, provide clear programme management and support district engineering staff unblock issues to expedite delivery for our customers.

Required to share knowledge of the connections process, including network related advice and expertise upfront with customers on a site-by-site basis, you will be expected to drive service, sales and retention strategies, ensuring maximum value whilst maintaining effective operational control to ensure compliance.

Delivering clear, dynamic and motivational leadership which aligns with company values, you will represent SP Energy Networks at Stakeholder Panels and Exhibitions, promoting company services to maximise exposure in the market by guaranteeing excellent customer service.

Feeding market intelligence into the strategic decision-making process for the successful delivery of targets, you will liaise with the Heads of Planning & Design to ensure growth in line with strategic frameworks and market conditions.

Developing and delivering high-profile account management/customer service, you will secure loyalty and commitment from a portfolio of significant customers to promote SP Energy Networks as a preferred connections provider.

Responsibilities

Supporting and effectively managing processes to deliver targets, you will ensure the delivery of exceptional customer service, promoting SP Energy Networks.

Maximising profit of connections work from all customers within allowed guidelines, you will be required to develop a forward-looking strategy to deliver required targets from the customer base and ensure coordination with others to deliver the desired connections income.

Assisting in the implementation and development of Net Zero and Low Carbon strategies, managing the customer interface, you will record accurate details of activity on appropriate systems and report on progress as required.

Developing and maintaining detailed customer activity and contract details, you will contribute as required to the development of Connections, Low Carbon Technology, Stakeholder Management, Customer Service and ED2 strategies, developing an ever changing and expanding portfolio of customers with multiple connections enquiries, streamlining the process and providing clear guidance.

What you'll bring

With relevant work experience in a customer facing role which has commercial and financial exposure, you will possess experience of Project and Customer management, with detailed knowledge of large scale connections and engineering projects.

Knowledgeable in UK regulatory policy for network connections including health, safety and environmental legislation associated with operational projects, you will be IT literate with the ability to operate MS Office systems and other IT based project systems.
