We are seeking an outstanding and dynamic 2nd in charge of English with responsibility for Key Stage 3.  This full time role would suit an individual who is able to deliver an excellent standard of classroom teaching across all key stages including A Level.

This role is required from October half term however the start date is negotiable for the right candidate.

This post would be suitable for an experienced teacher and is an excellent opportunity for a committed and motivated professional. 

English has a prominent position within our curriculum, and opportunities for pupils are enriched by a wide variety of extracurricular activities including pupil competitions, author visits and theatre trips. 

We are looking for someone with vision and enthusiasm to join our ambitious and high-achieving team.  

The successful candidate will be an excellent and enthusiastic teacher with an ability to communicate a love for their subject.  The desire to share good practice with the department is essential.

Salary for this role will be paid at MPS / UPS and comes with an TLR 2a, currently £3,213 per annum
