Learning Support Assistant

Prospero Teaching are working closely with a small friendly primary school in Chorley to recruit an enthusiastic and confident Year 1 Teaching Assistant to start in September, for the full academic year.
The Year 1 TA role will involve:
Supporting groups with core learning activities including Reading, Writing, Phonics and Maths
Making assessments and recording data
Delivering targeted interventions for groups and individuals, including children with SEN
Contributing effectively to behaviour management, alongside the class teacher
Preparing resources
You will need prior experience in either EYFS or KS1 and have good understanding of the curriculum for KS1. This Year 1 TA role requires strong communication skills, ability to build excellent relationships with the children, and a genuine desire to impact the children's progress and development in all areas.
This Year 1 TA role is full-time and has a daily pay rate of GBP95 - GBP105 depending on experience.
Essential requirements:
Right to Work in the UK
Enhanced DBS
Relevant qualification such as Childhood Studies degree, TA qualification, Level 2 or Level 3
Professional references covering the last two full years
Teaching Assistant experience in a UK primary school
