Senior Business Development Manager Footwear Women’s and Men’s UK & Europe

We are recruiting on an exclusive new role with a Bangladesh based supplier who are looking to have initial confidential discussions with Senior Account Business Development Managers Footwear Private Label based in their UK Office and showroom hybrid or remote to be discussed

A great opportunity has become available to join a global fashion supplier working with the major high street fashion retailers in both the UK and Europe on Casual Footwear

Due to the company's ongoing success with major apparel volume retailers and supermarkets, they are looking for an experienced.

Senior Sales/ Business Development Manager with a proven track record in Footwear Private Labelwith active connections and current or recent experience working with major supermarkets and volume high street retailers. This really is an exciting time to be joining an established successful, global fashion supplier with contemporary offices and showroom, established head office and production in Dhaka Bangladesh who are looking to add new accounts to their international portfolio in Footwear looking at the UK and Europe working with an UK based Senior Footwear Designer and reporting into the Sales Director UK & Europe and working closely with Bangladesh

Have you ability to drive and develop their existing fashion apparel customer base and develop new  footwear accounts?

  • Develop and maintain sales for major accounts with the supermarkets and high street retailers in UK and Europe.
  • Understanding key trends and having a commercial 'eye' for fashion footwear
  • Excellent understanding of margins and critical path management
  • Previous Account Management or Sales Management experience within the supplier side on Footwear this must be current or recent and you must be well connected and proactive
  • An established network of buyers within the supermarkets and high street volume fashion retailers.
  • Able to work under pressure within a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate with factories and buyers
  • Provide guidance and assistance to footwear designer to ensure product development aligns with internal strategy and customer strategy.
  • In conjunction with the Senior Footwear Designer present new products to customers
  • Able to negotiate prices in line with customer requirements and targets and agree on cost prices with customers.
  • Must have experience working with Bangladesh or China etc
