This role sits within the Student Recruitment team of the External and Corporate Relations Service, which leads the University in both its outward facing activities and our internal corporate relationships and communications. The team covers a range of activities, including Marketing, Communications, UK & International Recruitment, Admissions and Events.

 The University now seeks to appoint a STUDENT RECRUITMENT AND ADMISSIONS ASSISTANT

 Reporting to the Director of UK Recruitment and Admissions, you will provide a friendly and efficient support service across the Student Recruitment and Admissions teams to ensure that the service is high functioning and perceived as a welcoming, professional environment. You’ll provide high standards of customer service, dealing with queries from applicants and their advisers, and providing student recruitment guidance to colleagues.  You’ll have the administrative responsibility for our enquiry and schools databases and student recruitment event support for activities including Open Days and Campus Tours.  You’ll support our busy Admissions team, processing applications against set criteria and within agreed timescales.

 The role requires excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and an ability to work under pressure, adapting to changing demands of a busy team.  You’ll be expected to be a self-starter with a positive can-do attitude and work collaboratively with others in a solution-orientated manner.
