The role involves:

  • working with the Early Years Teaching team to support Early Years children in their academic, social and emotional development.
  • supporting the teacher with whole class, small group and one-to-one teaching.
  • being a calm, caring and patient person who is dedicated to helping young children learn, grow and flourish.
  • implementing the school policies both in class and across the school where as appropriate.

    The successful candidate will:

    • be an experienced Early Years Teaching Assistant who has excellent communication skills and is able to work closely and effectively with children, their parents and carers and the Early Years team.
    • be passionate about teaching and learning and believe in developing the true potential of all children.
    • be able to multi-task, help plan and deliver stimulating and interesting activities and be confident in playing with children and reading stories aloud.

      This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
