Package Manager

Location: Cumbria ,CA20 1PG
Salary: £41.07 p/h PAYE / £53.99 p/h Umbrella (inside IR35)
Term: 12 Month contract likely to extend

The role: Exciting opportunity for a skilled Package Manager to lead multidisciplinary work packages in Cumbria's nuclear sector, ensuring seamless delivery from design to commissioning while maintaining rigorous quality and budget standards.

Duties/Responsibilities may include:

Management of work packages/systems and support to the BEPDT Management Team in the successful delivery of the BEP project for the client.
To coordinate the delivery of multidisciplinary work packages through all phases of the project, i.e. engineering design, procurement, construction and commissioning activities
To assume 'cradle to grave' accountability for a work package
Ensure all changes are identified and managed, and configuration control is maintained,
Lead the package team to ensure key project milestones are met in accordance with timescale, budget and quality
To act as key contact for and manage interfaces with external Subcontractors and design houses engaged
Manage external contracts in support of package implementationSkills, experience & qualifications:

Experience of managing packages of work on EPC projects or similar
Proven track record of successfully working on NEC3 projects
Experience in Project / Customer Reporting
Qualification in Project Management preferable
Experience and demonstrated abilities of working as part of a collaborative team, in a multidisciplinary environment
Experience in Mechanical and/or EC&I services.
Experience within nuclear sector
Hold a minimum HND or equivalent
