Westlakes Recruit are currently recruiting for an experienced construction coordinator to be engaged on a contract basis in Whitehaven, Cumbria.

Accountable to the Construction Manager

Understand their area of responsibilities on projects/frameworks

To ensure the relevant discipline resources are safe to perform the tasks and activities required during delivery of the project schedule.

To collaborate with the EC&I Engineering team to assist and support installation design.

Ensuring that installed systems are fit for purpose, integrated, optimised, and satisfy the specified functional requirements.

Ensuring that installed systems meet all specified project quality and assurance requirements.

Undertake any other duties required to ensure efficient delivery of the project.

Support the Quality team in reviewing quality plans and relevant quality documentation such as Inspection Check Lists.

Supervise sub-contractors and co-ordinate work.

Liaise with the clients construction and project teams.

Experience working as a charge-hand/supervisor/coordinator.
Inspection and Testing.
Knowledge of Quality Plans, Inspection Checklists.

Essential Skills/Qualifications: IOSH Working Safely / SSSTS. ECS Gold Card. NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation Ability to keep accurate and detailed records. Conversant with the IT Microsoft office work packages. Drive and energy with a strong aptitude for problem solving.
