The Role:

As the Commercial Finance Manager at Barons Eden, you will be responsible for driving financial performance improvement through strategic projects and initiatives.

Reporting directly to the Head of Commercial Finance, you will collaborate closely with various departments to identify opportunities for cost optimisation and operational efficiency.

This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong background in finance, exceptional analytical skills, and the ability to translate financial insights into actionable strategies.

Main

Responsibilities:

Analyse financial data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.Develop and implement strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing the financial performance of the business. Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and improve operational efficiency across the organisation.Lead efforts in negotiating with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing, contributing to overall cost savings.Implement procurement best practices to optimise purchasing processes and improve cost-efficiency.Lead and/or support strategic projects and initiatives aimed at improving business performance and profitability.Monitor project timelines, budgets, and milestones to ensure successful implementation and achievement of desired outcomes.Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and priorities, and provide financial expertise and insights. Build strong relationships across the organization to foster collaboration and alignment on financial goals and initiatives.
Skills Required:

Minimum 3 years finance experience, with a focus on financial analysis, strategic planning, and project managementProven track record of driving financial performance improvements through strategic initiatives and process optimisation.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and translate insights into actionable strategiesExperience in hospitality industry or related field is preferred.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
