Responsibilities:

  • Experienced with Purchase Ledger duties such as setting up new supplier accounts, processing invoices and expenses, supplier reconciliations, and resolving queries
  • Complete and maintain sales invoices and reports accurately
  • Daily bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Preparation of quarterly VAT return
  • Ensure efficient credit control of client accounts
  • Processing direct debit and preparing and sending BACS payments to clients
  • Importing of month-end invoices onto Sage
  • Auditing the accounts and credit control of client accounts
  • Support the accounts team with any further duties as required

Skills and experience required:

  • Partly qualified or qualified by experience
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Methodical approach to work
  • Excellent organisational skills
