We are currently recruiting for a skilled TIG Welder/Sheet Metal Worker to join one of our reputable and rapidly expanding Birmingham-based clients on a temporary to permanent basis.

As a TIG Welder/ Sheet Metal Worker, It would be your responsiblity to fabricate and weld different steel and metal components in accordance with engineering specifications and drawings. Additionally, you must have prior experience working with materials ranging in thickness from 1 to 5 mm.

Working Hours:

Monday to Thursday - 07:00am to 16:00pm

Friday - 07:00am to 12:00pm

Benefits:

Responsiblities of a TIG Welder/Sheet Metal worker:

  • Welding small parts in batches
  • Welding stainless steel 1-5mm in thickness
  • Referring to drawings and readings to weld and fabricate
  • Operating hand tools and power tools to cut, bend, and join metals

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with sheet metal and stainless steel of various thickness
  • 12 months experience TIG Welding
  • Industry Knowledge
  • Previous experience working in a fabrication/manufacturing environment
  • Must live a commutable distance from the client
