A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESERVATIONS EXECUTIVE AT THE GANTRY LONDON HOTEL

What you'll be doing...

Reporting to the Reservations Manager, you can expect your working day to include the following. 

Create reservations and input via both telephone and email according to room and rate availability, ensuring that full and accurate details are obtained. Deal with travel agent bookings, vouchers and credit requests, ensuring that the hotel’s policy is adhered to at all times. Accurate and timely responses to guests, clients and agents in line with our brand standards. Update reservations, to input and record cancellations and amendments, making sure all bookings are accurate. Checking arrivals for following day. To be fully conversant with rate groups and sales accounts procedures. Completing other projects when and if required within the Reservations Manager.

To succeed in the role of Reservations Executive, you will need the following qualities and skills. 

Similar experience as a reservation agent role in a 5 Star Front Office or Reservations Department. Excellent level of English. Competent computer skills, word, excel, power point. Excellent communicator at all levels. Effective organizational skills, able to prioritise tasks and self-manage a demanding workload. Excellent presentation skills.
