We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Residential Childcare Worker to assist our residential care team in providing a nurturing and supportive environment for young people in our care.

In this role you will participate in overseeing daily operations and ensuring the well-being and development of the young people under your care.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting young people to appointments and activities such as shopping or trips out
  • Engage our young people in tasks and activities
  • Undertaking household tasks

Our next Senior Residential Care Worker will be someone who has:

  • A full UK driving licence, access to own vehicle
  • A big heart and passion to make a difference to the residents' lives.
  • Patience, resilience, and calmness.

Acorn Education are recruiting Residential Childcare Worker to join our team in the Telford region.

Our residential home, has a capacity of 5 and supports young people from the ages of 7-18 build incredible futures by giving them opportunities, developing their life skills and personal interests.

This home is based in Telford and is within commuting distance from Cannock, Shrewsbury and surrounding towns and villages.

Our homes are friendly and fun, and though there are challenges too, everything we do is dedicated to creating rewarding experiences - for those we look after and for everyone in our team
