HRGO are recruiting for our client, a community focused public sector organisation in Abergele. The successful candidate will play a key role in providing expert advice and support on a range of HR matters to ensure effective workforce management.

Job Role: HR Advisor (office based)

Salary: 36,721 per annum

Hours: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm (37.5 hours per week)

Contract Type: 6 month contract

Responsibilities

  • Provide advice to managers and colleagues across the business across all HR and OD matters, e.g. T&Cs, employee relation cases i.e. disciplinary, grievance, performance, absence
  • Develop positive employee brand
  • Maximise colleague contribution
  • Develop, maintain and improve relationships between colleagues, managers, trade unions reps
  • Empower and develop management capacity in dealing with HR matters using coaching techniques
  • Provide support in recruitment
  • Coordinate training and development
  • Work with HR team to establish change management tools
  • Create, develop, review HR policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a HR Advisor role is essential
  • Excellent knowledge of UK Employment Law
  • Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • In-depth knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practice
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
