THG Beauty Brands - Head of Paid Media

About the Division - THG Beauty Brands

Reporting into the Marketing Director based in HQ Manchester UK, the Head of Paid is responsible for planning, developing, implementing and managing the overall THG Beauty Brands paid media marketing strategy.
Main Responsibilities:
Build, plan and implement the overall performance marketing strategy for THG Beauty Brands in all territories. Prepare and manage the marketing budget, setting the KPIs and targets for ROI for every channel. Work closely with the finance team and Marketing Director to take ownership of marketing COS. Build best in class marketing programs across all channels in line with territory aims and budgets in place Work closely with our key marketing partners to drive new strategies, enhance partnership and deliver the marketing budgets Drive efficiencies in our marketing budget, focusing on paid to free balance and growth. Identify cost re-investments on existing customers and non-incremental activity. Work closely with key marketing contacts across central teams to partner closely with Google, Meta and other key partners, identifying opportunities across Ad-Tech and Mar-Tech. Look for innovative opportunities in new marketing avenues, keeping THG Brands at the forefront of the digital marketing industry Look for opportunities to drive forward platform enhancements to position ourselves ahead of the market Collaborate with other members of the senior beauty team to ensure the delivery of the total beauty ambition and growth targets, including build and maintain good relationships with our key brand partners and support the buying team in delivering paid for marketing and supporting in the onboarding of new brands Work alongside the Beauty Brand teams targets and growth ambitions are hit Building for the future & thinking ahead - 3-year strategic plan to position us in a better place than our competitors Continually research and understand your competitive environment to ensure that we remain at the forefront of our industry Build and maintain an effective management team - Provide direction to the work and resources of our business and ensure we recruit and retain the best staff, ensuring they are trained and well-motivated to achieve our mission and objectives To be the right fit for this role, you will likely demonstrate the following:
Ability to lead a team to deliver a shared mission Ability to prioritize and structure work Strong financial and analytical ability - ability to budget Excellent communicator - is able to give clarity and set direction Strong commercial awareness about their industry Strong knowledge of the different marketing channels Ability to form good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders Critical thinker and problem-solving skills Project management skills We're looking for:
5+ years' experience in managing online marketing campaigns across multiple platforms. Confidence and experience managing seven figure budgets. Experience managing and developing a performance team. Ability to work in super-fast paced, internet environment with low structure and high autonomy. A numerically-literate and detail-orientated individual. First-hand experience with 3rd party platforms - SA360, Smartly preferred. Knowledge and experience working with the full digital marketing mix. Experience managing multiple priorities across various brands and stakeholders.
