Why be a Head of Paid Media at THG?

This is a brand-new vacancy for our Beauty Brands team, reporting directly to our Marketing Director, Joe Squire. The role has a global remit, with a significant focus on the USA in the first few months, offering a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to broaden their international experience. You'll manage a Paid Media Manager from day one and support the continued growth of the team.

As the Head of Paid Media, you'll:

  1. Develop and implement the overall performance marketing strategy for THG Beauty Brands in all territories.
  2. Prepare and manage the marketing budget, setting KPIs and targets for ROI for every channel. Work closely with the finance team and Marketing Director to take ownership of marketing COS.
  3. Collaborate with key marketing partners to drive new strategies, enhance partnerships, and deliver marketing budgets.
  4. Identify innovative opportunities in new marketing avenues, keeping THG Brands at the forefront of the digital marketing industry.
  5. Explore opportunities to drive forward platform enhancements to position ourselves ahead of the market.
  6. Develop a 3-year strategic plan to position us in a better place than our competitors.
What skills and experience do I need for this role?

You'll need:

  1. 5+ years' experience in managing online marketing campaigns across multiple platforms.
  2. Confidence and experience managing seven-figure budgets.
  3. Experience managing and developing a performance team, including management of Managers.
  4. A numerically-literate and detail-oriented individual.
  5. First-hand experience with 3rd party platforms - SA360, Smartly preferred.
