You will work alongside the Head of HR for Phsyical Distribution and two HR business partners to ensure and create a consistent employee journey and life cycle. You will become a trusted advisor to our Warehouse community to ensure engagement, future development and consistency of message.

As part of the Physical Distribution community, you'll be playing a huge part in our transformation journey, supporting our people with the journey of change and support with upskilling and development.

You need to be a people person; you'll need the emotional intelligence it takes to work with a wide variety of people and solve problems that arise. There will also be opportunity to help with the learning and development of staff too, making this a busy but rewarding role. You will be required to provide a high level of customer service to both candidates and the internal managers alike.

We will give you the opportunity to get a true flavour of the world of Human Resources with a specific focus on talent acquisition and development and employee relations.

Day-to-day Ownership

Answering queries and providing support to managers Running the DC payroll through Mitrefinch, extracting the data and sending to payroll in a CSV file for uploadER Case support Internal recruitment - advertising, managing the system, arranging interviews and providing guidance to managersProcessing system changes to employment terms and conditionsScreening documentation before they are issued to employees for signatureTraining and development tailored to our sector and population
