What could you be doing?

You’ll be responsible for providing effective coordination and administration support to the Grounds Maintenance and Caretaking and Cleaning team with a special focus on providing accurate and regular communication to enhance service delivery.

You will be part of the operation being involved in and providing administrative support for lots of key tasks and projects, helping the teams deliver their business objectives. It will be a varied role where no day will be the same.

You will be liaising with internal colleagues, and then act as an ambassador for Platform, dealing with and helping to resolve queries and low-level complaints with external customers, local authorities, and sub-contractors to ensuring the service is delivered accordingly. You will play a key role in making a difference to our customers’ environment.

Some things we need from you

  • You will have great Customer Service skills
  • You’ll have strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Great interpersonal skills: you will be building strong working relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders
  • Super organised and efficient, you will be able to work to strict deadlines
  • You’ll be the point of contact for all queries so you will readily take ownership, and be able to prioritise
  • You won’t shy from tackling a problem and try to resolve it yourself before escalating
  • Ability to work autonomously and use own initiative whilst working
  • You’ll also have great administration, IT, and numeracy skills
  • You will have experience of providing administrative support in either a property maintenance or construction environment

You would be based in our office in Worcester. It is located near Shrub Hill making it ideal for commuting via train or if you are driving there is free car parking on site. The work pattern is 40 hours a week working Monday to Friday 8:00 – 16:30. There would be occasional travel to offices and other locations as required to attend meetings.
