They deliver innovative solutions that ensure compliance with international standards and promote continuous improvement.
Description
- Perform treasury functions primarily using Excel, with minimal reliance on automated systems. This includes developing and maintaining detailed financial models.
- Oversee daily cash operations and ensure efficient cash management. Responsibilities include monitoring and managing the company's daily cash position and 4 weekly cash flow forecasts
- Administer and streamline numerous bank accounts and payroll processes. This involves managing the relationships with various banks, ensuring compliance with international banking regulations, and rationalising the number of bank accounts to improve efficiency.
- Lead and participate in various strategic projects to support treasury initiatives. This could include system upgrades, process automation, integration of newly acquired entities, and other projects aimed at enhancing the overall effectiveness of the treasury function.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance treasury processes and operations. Responsibilities include conducting regular reviews of current processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing best practices to ensure continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure that the treasury function supports and aligns with the broader organisational objectives.
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of treasury reports and documentation. This includes preparing monthly and quarterly treasury reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing accurate and timely information to senior management.
Profile
- Proven experience in a treasury management role within a busy organisation.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel; able to perform complex financial analysis and reporting without the aid of a TMS.
- Strong understanding of cash management, cash flow forecasting, and treasury operations.
- Excellent project management skills, with a focus on continuous improvement and process optimisation.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple bank accounts and payroll processes across various regions.
- Analytic mindset with keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
