About the Role
We are looking to appoint a Senior Market Intelligence Analyst, who will hold responsibility for providing the UK and Ireland Sales and Marketing teams with valuable Market Intelligence insight, using a wide range of internal and external data sources. This involves highlighting emerging variances to expectations and identifying the impact and reasons for these variances through reporting, data modelling, analysis, interpretation, and commentary.
The role is full-time, Monday - Friday and is based in Runcorn, Cheshire.
Key responsibilities will include.
Provide regular dashboard reporting, enabling the teams to review their sales, forecast, market and activity dataSupport the Finance Controlling team and Commercial colleagues through MTS and ForecastingHighlight trends, deviations, market insight and work with the commercial teams using the data to challenge, drive change and support decision makingWork with the CRM provider to implement new functionality ad develop the reporting capabilityDrive continuous improvement in data, reporting and market intelligence initiativesBusiness Partner with Commercial teams maintaining a constant understanding of objectives, strategy and challenges and supporting with relevant analysis, reporting and data
The ideal candidate
In depth knowledge of Microsoft Power Query, Power BI, Tableau Prep, Tableau Desktop, Excel, Word, Analysis for Office, CRM & SQLExcellent numeracy skills and a strong understanding of BI systems & applicationsAbility to present and communicate effectively by clearly and concisely articulating ideas and conclusionsGood with the detail and tenacious following variances through to an evidence-based conclusion
