About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team at Protein Works. As a Data Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and decision-making through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Data Analysis and Reporting: Develop and maintain standardized dynamic and static reports for various business areas, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of insights.
  2. Reporting Benchmark and Process: Establish a reporting benchmark and process across the business, ensuring consistency and efficiency.
  3. Marketing, Ops, and Tech Integration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand current reporting needs and opportunities, aligning the business through data-driven insights.
  4. Data Capture and Reporting Tools: Work with the Senior team to design, develop, and enhance data capture and reporting tools, ensuring seamless data flow and analysis.
  5. Management Information: Support the Senior team in generating and maintaining meaningful management information across all levels of the business.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  1. Data Analytics Warehouse Management: Manage our Data Analytics Warehouse, automated reports, and back-end data lake, ensuring data quality and integrity.
  2. Engineering and Development: Develop and maintain our Data Analytics Warehouse, ensuring health and future-readiness.
  3. Performance Analysis and Presentation: Drive performance through analyzing and presenting data-driven insights, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  4. Data Analysis and Solutions: Undertake data analysis within assigned projects, delivering data solutions and data lifecycles.
  5. Data Collection and Analysis: Collect, extract, and analyze data from complex sources, ensuring accurate and timely insights.
  6. API Management: Manage APIs from a health and integration perspective, ensuring seamless data flow.
  7. Operational Performance Analysis: Analyze and provide data on key operational performance, suggesting improvements and changes where necessary.
  8. Quality Standards and Deadlines: Ensure quality standards are met and deadlines achieved, supporting others to improve their use and understanding of data.
  9. Industry Knowledge and Relationships: Maintain ahead-of-the-curve industry knowledge within customer experience, building strong relationships with the internal team.
Requirements
  1. Passion for Data and Business: A creative data 'geek' with a passion for impacting change and performance in a commercial, retail setting.
  2. Communication and Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal skills, able to clearly communicate complex topics in simple terms, and build positive, productive relationships.
  3. Strategic Mindset and Self-Learning: A lover of hitting targets, developing a strategic mindset, and being an avid self-learner and teacher.
  4. Quality and Motivation: High standards for quality of delivery from yourself and from others, with a high level of motivation and self-starter attitude.
