Senior Finance Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Héroux-Devtek. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial reports, analysis, and guidance to the business. Your duties will include preparing and reviewing month-end journals, producing accurate and insightful commentary on monthly performances, identifying areas of overspend, and working with the business to minimize the impact.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and review of month-end journals
- Production of accurate and insightful commentary on monthly performances
- Identification of areas of overspend and minimization of impact
- Support for internal and external audits
- Improvement and streamlining of reports tailored to business needs
- Collaboration with operations and program managers to deliver financial business objectives
- Financial support for new business opportunities
- Active role in producing financial forecasts and budgets
- Assistance with inventory management, including movement analysis and provision calculations
- Proven experience as a qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA)
- Experience of business partnering and working across departments to deliver positive change, ideally in a manufacturing environment
- Experience of cost analysis and inventory management
- Enthusiastic, proactive, and thorough approach to work, with good attention to detail
- Ability to take ownership and responsibility of work, managing workload to meet deadlines
- High standard of IT literacy, and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Superb analytical skills, with strong commercial awareness and business acumen
- Leadership potential and ambition to progress in the future
- Objective/critical judgment required during financial reviews to deliver results
- Good communication/presentation skills to deliver financial/technical information to various stakeholders across the business
