The Management Account role within our central finance team is an integral part of the team responsible for and actively contributing towards an efficient and accurate finance function within the company. Providing accurate and up to date critical financial information to the owners and senior management of the organisation is a fundamental part of this role. Your primary responsibilities involve, but are not restricted to, the monthly preparation, review, and distribution of management accounts for at least one of our companies, preparation of VAT payments and VAT returns for the whole group, reconciling accounts according to hotel schedules, analysis of accounts postings and controlling the group’s leisure club direct debit process.
The management accounts are considered by the organisation as key reporting for monitoring business performance and thus this role is pivotal. In addition, you will be responsible for supporting the Bar’s management team in the preparation of weekly financial information for senior management.
About you…
We’re looking for someone who has previously acted in a similar finance role, ideally within a multi-site hospitality environment who is a self-starter and is experienced in preparing management accounts. You’ll have good communication, time management and organisational skills. Attention to detail, a robust view on internal financial control and a tenacious nature are also essential aptitudes required to ensure success within the role.
