The Business Support team provide first-line monitoring, control and business support to the Bespoke Investment Managers and their administration staff, while managing the engagement back into the wider business to assist project delivery & report front office monitoring. The team sits alongside the central administration function, which is responsible for delivery of administration best practice, and the Portfolio Analytics & Risk team, which together make up Bespoke IM Services.
The Business Support Analyst is required to assist the wider Business Support team working with subject matter experts within the Bespoke IM Services team and/or wider business in a drive to achieve greater efficiency within the Bespoke IM procedures. This will also involve the delivery of any changes back into the business as a whole. In addition will be responsible for the periodic monitoring of front line risks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Support
Provide direct end to end support to the Bespoke front office on queries that come into the query mailbox, including directing non-business support related queries to the correct CBAM team
Escalate any queries to the Business Support Senior Analyst or relevant business stakeholders for appropriate resolution where required
Bespoke Procedures
Own the Bespoke IM procedure manual and its periodic reviews focusing on continuous improvement, ensuring each procedure puts clients first, and meets regulatory responsibility.
Work in partnership with the Head of Investment Administration and other business stakeholders to ensure best practice is reflected in all front office procedures that impact Bespoke IM.
Produce management information to ensure performance measurement against procedures are tracked and any lessons learnt are communicated and implemented
First-Line Monitoring & Control
Assist with first-line monitoring & control of proposition & product procedural risks.
Assist with first-line monitoring & control of business risks.
Assist with the assessment of the Bespoke controls to ensure effectiveness and efficiency, identifying and implementing improvements and automation where necessary
Provide monitoring of Portfolio Lending and provide required data to finance for reporting
Business Engagement
Assist where requested, contribution into the wider business on projects, working groups, service review meetings and governance meetings in respect to bespoke procedures, monitoring, reporting and controls.
Assist with delivery for new and existing Bespoke IM’s and their support staff in relation to front office procedures and BAU tasks that are specifically owned by the Business Support team.
Work with the Bespoke IM service team and other business operational units to identify training gaps within the Front Office and liaise and assist with relevant stakeholders to resolve.
Regulatory Responsibilities (Compliance/T&C)
Ability to demonstrate an understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to the role, whilst practising effective risk management taking account of outcomes for clients.
Understand, follow and demonstrate compliance with all relevant internal and external rules, regulations and procedures that apply to the conduct of the business. Follow principles and rules of the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the internal requirements set out in the Compliance Manual, local and Group Compliance and Risk policies.

Minimum 2 years of previous experience in a similar capacity within asset management or financial services.
