Trainee/Junior Estimator

Overview

The role of the Trainee/Junior Estimator will include but not limited to;

Responsible for the pricing and the winning of work, in competition, for the construction teams.

Estimating the 1st operation of the construction phase.

Comparing and analysing subcontractor and material quotations.

Working with figures.

Working alongside the design team.

Primarily office based but will involve visiting sites to establish project specific conditions.

Working with a variety of computer programmes.

Will be involved with measurement from drawings.

Our client is a leading regional building contractor in the Midlands undertaking projects in the public and private sector.

They cover a broad range of sectors and have expertise in Education, Local Authority, Social Housing & Healthcare with projects upto circa 6M in value
