Trainee Estimator

Fawkes & Reece West Midlands is seeking a highly motivated and organized Trainee Estimator to join their team. As a Trainee Estimator, you will work closely with a Senior Estimator to tender work for the region, gaining valuable experience and skills in the process.

• Assist in the preparation of tender documents and estimates
• Conduct site visits to gather information and data
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Collaborate with the estimating team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of estimates

• Educated to degree/OND/HND level or equivalent in quantity surveying or construction related field
• Some experience in civil engineering, quantity surveying or cost estimation
• Computer literacy, including MS office software
• Driven, hardworking with an ability to use own initiative
• Organised, analytical and accurate
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
