Job DescriptionWho You Are

A talented and enthusiastic End User Computing Engineer with at least 12 months of experience in delivering IT service support.
Strong technical background in managing IT equipment, including peripherals, laptops, tablets, and mobile devices across Windows 10/11, iOS, and Android platforms.
Proficient in troubleshooting and supporting Windows O/S, Active Directory, Intune autopilot, and SCCM.
Experienced in working to agreed service level agreements and managing tickets using tools like Service Now.
Adept at delivering exceptional customer service with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, and handle remote and face-to-face customer support.
Possess a full Manual Driver’s License to support sites across the borough.
Desirable: ITIL foundation or equivalent training/certification, and experience in a local government organization.


What The Job Involves

Delivering effective and customer-focused support for all laptops, tablets, desktops, and peripherals using tools such as Active Directory, Intune autopilot, and SCCM.
Managing and resolving day-to-day operational incidents and service requests within agreed service level agreements.
Performing warranty repairs, new starter deployments, and Windows 11 device rollouts.
Building and managing devices, providing remote and deskside support across all Enfield Council sites and libraries.
Maintaining and enforcing software policies and standards and conducting continuous improvement and quality assurance.
Providing high-quality technical and administrative support, maintaining IT systems, and assisting with Health and Safety checks and audits.
Engaging with internal departments such as Councillors, Directors, and Service Users as well as external IT partners and residents.
Being prepared to work out of hours, including weekends, on call as required to ensure service delivery meets customer needs.
