The King's School Chester has an exciting opportunity for a full time (term time only + 4 weeks) Director of Netball to lead our ambitious Netball programme from September 2024.

You will be responsible for the overall administration, coaching, performance and continued growth and development of The King’s School netball programme. The Director of Netball is not a teaching role but will be expected to lead games sessions, support PE lessons across the school.

As Director of Netball you will:

        Support the netball programme through coaching and development opportunities for all.        Organise, manage and promote an appropriate set of fixtures, festivals and tournaments       Ensure fixture and team sheet details are accurately communicated in the school Calendar using SOCS        Ensure all sessions are appropriately equipped and conduct a regular audit, recommending budgets/equipment purchase for the netball programme to the Director of Sport        Have obtained UKCC Level 2 coaching or above                 


** For the right candidate, there may be the opportunity to complete Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) at an appropriate time in the job. **

37 hours per week - term time only + 4 weeks including weekend and evening training/match fixtures (see applicant pack for full details)


Salary £22,689 per annum         (FTE £25,525 per annum)
