As part of our Driver team, you will support the Head of Drivers in developing and executing a 5-year strategy for drivers, using your analytical and problem-solving skills to improve overall operational performance. 

In this role, you will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and reporting on operational data related to drivers. You will work closely with various departments and utilise statistical tools to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven recommendations to enhance efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will play a key role in monitoring performance metrics, collaborating on projects, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Your efforts will directly impact the smooth and effective running of our train services, and your valuable insights and recommendations will be instrumental in shaping our long-term strategy for drivers. You'll join a dynamic and innovative team, where you'll have the opportunity to use your skills and experience to drive positive change within Avanti West Coast.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to demonstrate:

  • Proven experience in a data analysis role, preferably within the transportation or logistics sector.
  • Knowledge of data analysis techniques, including statistical analysis, data mining and predictive modelling.
  • Experience in creating reports, dashboards and data visualisations that effectively communicate insights to stakeholders
