Key Responsibilities of a Payroll Team Leader:
- Ensuring the day-to-day processes are completed accurately and on time.
- Complete monthly payroll checking and reconciliation.
- Responding to escalated queries.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of the payroll function through building relationships with key stakeholders.
- Lead on TUPE process in conjunction with the Payroll Manager.
- Leading the development of the Payroll Officers through their career pathway.
- At least 2 years' experience as a Payroll Team Leader,
- A good foundation in payroll knowledge.
- Confident using excel, including using Vlookups and data manipulation
- CIPP qualification is desirable.
- Have strong communication skills
- Flexibility You can work your full-time hours over 4 days and enjoy a long weekend, or work over 5 days to accommodate your other commitments. The role will require travel to our regional head office based in Widnes otherwise you can work remotely or from home.
