This client based in Central Angus is looking to bring in an Operations Administrator to support the team. This would be a temporary position with the chance of becoming permanent following a successful period.

The Role

To provide a full range of administrative duties for the Operations department, working on multiple activities at the same time within tight timescales.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare all delivery notes, equipment despatch notes and equipment returns notes.
  • Book in all equipment rental returns on MS Navision.
  • Type up In-House certification.
  • Create DNV list and type up DNV certification.
  • Create certification packs for sales orders.
  • Update hose certification register.
  • Scan, save and hyperlink certification to system and update expiry dates.
  • Prepare Work Order job packs.
  • Update personnel training and competency records.
  • Notify 3rd party vendors of off hire dates and update MS Navision to suit.
  • Update sales orders with off hire dates on MS Navision.
  • Prepare Cargo Summary Tickets.
  • Review and file completed Purchase Orders.
  • General MS Navision data entry.
  • Portal updates for dispatches / returns (Ariba / Wellsafe etc.).
  • Send signed Equipment Returns Notes to customers.
  • Complete Asset disposal process.
  • Allocate equipment to sales orders in MS Navision.
  • Answer the main phone line and transfer calls in a professional manner.
  • General admin duties across all departments when required.

Requirements

Understanding of an office environment and admin background beneficial.

Ability to operate all Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Customer service skills Good telephone manner.

National 5 Pass in English & Maths (or equivalent).

Previous administrative experience preferred.

Experience using MS Navision (desirable but not essential).

Strong organisational skills.

Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.

Good attention to detail.

Ability to problem-solve.

A team player, with a strong willingness and ability to learn.

Renumeration

  • Salary- 24-25K
