This is an exciting opportunity for a Management Accountant, who will play a key role in the accounting and finance department of a well-established non-profit organisation based in Loughborough. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and analysing financial information, budgeting, and cost management.

Description

  • Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports.
  • Contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
  • Analyse financial performance and contribute to medium and long-term business planning.
  • Ensure financial compliance with regulatory bodies.
  • Liaise with internal and external auditors.
  • Provide financial advice to management to aid decision making.
  • Manage costings and expenditure, ensuring the organisation remains financially sustainable.
  • Work collaboratively with the finance team and other departments.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with accounting software.
  • An understanding of the not-for-profit sector.
  • The ability to work in a team and build strong relationships with colleagues.
