As a Receptionist at our Brighton Hospital, you'll have great communication, IT and keyboard skills. You're also able to explain sensitive or complicated information in a way that's clear, sympathetic and easy to understand. Ideally, you have experience of working in healthcare administration or on reception.

As a Receptionist, you will:

Help people feel comfortable when they visit your department.

Use your empathy and customer service skills to build positive relationships.

Answer the phone, deal with enquiries and book appointments.

Welcome patients in person, directing them to the appropriate changing or waiting rooms.

Work closely with colleagues to ensure the department runs smoothly.

Prepare clinical paperwork, referral forms, charge sheets, and terms and conditions.

At Nuffield Health Brighton Hospital, we work with leading medical Consultants to provide first-class treatments and high standards of care for the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of a wide range of medical and surgical conditions using the latest facilities and technology. We take pride in delivering high standards of patient care to both private patients and the NHS. Our facilities include 44 purpose built en-suite rooms, 3 operating theatres plus 1 endoscopy theatre. Other facilities include physiotherapy and a diagnostic department. We are located in Woodingdean, on the east side of Brighton with easy access by rail and road, including free parking.
