Our client is a manufacturing company in Blackburn. With a turnover of 50 million at present with plans of growth over the next few years. They are looking for a Finance Assistant to look after their accounts receivable administration working closely with the rest of the accounts and production teams.

The position requires a god level of attention to detail, organisation and administration skills. The company heavily rely on excel so it is key that the candidate has a good level of knowledge of this, along with SAGE 50.
  • This role is one in which development is possible over time, you will be offered more exposure and have the opportunity to develop your accounting skills and the possibility to complete your AAT if this was desired paid and supported for by the employer.
  • The role will involve managing customer queries following delivery and so you must have a strong customer focused mentality, and a confident communicator. Your role will not be to resolve the queries of the delivery or invoice, but to ensure the correct department / point of contact is made aware and subsequently resolves the query.
    Salary for the position is negotiable dependant on experience from £24,000 to £26,000. You do not need loads of finance experience for this role, rather the client is wanting a person who will fit in well on the team with the right values and attitude (of course some finance experience would be beneficial). They offer a competitive benefits package with flexibility on start and end times Monday to Friday between the hours of 7am and 6pm.
