My client, an industry leader in MEICAT Engineering, is looking for an Commissioning Engineer to work on clean and waste water projects across Scotland.

As A Commissioning Engineer, you'll be instrumental in driving the successful commissioning of their assets which includes Motor Control Centres, Pumping Plant, Process Equipment, Standby Generation Equipment and various other instrumentation.

You will be working across Scotland on initially our smaller and then moving to larger assets. This is a stand-alone role that requires effective communication with our teams, simulating our assets and reporting back on their functionality. You will be responsible for ensuring assets are working as they should.

This position will require regional travel across Scotland.

Accommodation, evening meal and breakfast provided while you are working away.

Your remit is to contribute to the preparation of Commissioning Plans, Review P&ID diagrams, and liaise with suppliers and subcontractors throughout the commissioning process.

Requirements

  • Valid CSCS card or a SHEA Water Card
  • Knowledge of PLC software packages is essential
  • Preferably demonstrable experience of working within the water and / or sewage industries
  • Good IT skills including familiarity with the Microsoft packages
  • Previous experience of commissioning installations (M&E) in line with industry standards.
