- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Act as a role model for staff, promoting best practice and professional standards.
- Respond effectively to any challenging behaviour or crisis situations.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external agencies to meet the needs of residents.
- Previous experience working with children or young people in a residential setting.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- NVQ Level 3 in Children's Residential Care or equivalent qualification.
- Full driving license.
