**Qualifications**
- Level 3/4 NVQ in Health and Social Care - children
- Level 5 qualification in Leadership and Management (Children and Young People) or willing to undertake
- Health and Social Care degree

**Experience**:

- Relevant experience of leadership in Health and Social Care, children and young people.
- Minimum of one years’ experience as a senior or deputy manager of a Young People's service up to 18 years old
- Relevant experience of supporting successful Ofsted registered children's homes with good or outstanding ratings
- Care standards understanding and knowledge, including child protection.
- Understanding of children's needs from traumatic backgrounds
- Professionalism in approach, Understanding and deliverance. Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders.
- Committed to delivering a high level of care and support for our children and young people.

- Taking part in all meetings relevant to children's care planning
- Undertaking hours to suit the home
- Effective supervision of staff
- On call duties
- Maintaining low sickness levels from staff
- Ensuring children are in education and attend above 90%
- Excellent planning and time management.

**Salary**: £27,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
