Deputy Manager - Clinical Lead Nurse Sleaford £25.96 per hour (£49,947) - Plus 10% SMART objectives bonus I am working with a privately owned group who have a beautiful care home rated as ‘good’ in the Sleaford area. The home is an old vicarage based in beautiful, landscaped gardens which the residents really enjoy. They are now looking for a Clinical Lead/Deputy Manager to join their friendly team. You will be required to:

  • Ensure that care plans for nursing residents are completed with the timescales required
  • Ensure that all care plans are evaluated at least once a month and ensure audit scores are in excess of 85%
  • Assist the Home Manager in all aspects of the day to day running of the home on a 24-hour basis, to ensure all aspects of care delivery within the home meet the highest Care Standards as defined by the CQC
  • Develop, motivate, and engage the wellbeing of your team, and in particular the nurse team
  • Meet all legislative requirements in line with NMC guidelines, and take the lead within the home for all clinical tasks and decisions under the direction of the Home Manager and to document these
  • Liaise with external agencies to ensure access to all medical services as required by individual residents
For his post you must be able to demonstrate:
  • An NMC pin and nursing qualification
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in nursing home setting of which at least one year must be with people living with dementia
  • Excellent clinical skills
  • The ability to engage and motivate a team
  • A full UK Driving licence and transport due to the location of the home, and live within 30 minutes of the home
