This role is offered on a hybrid basis with the customer's office in East Birmingham

Key Responsibilities of the Junior Project Manager :

  • Reporting to the Programme manager and assisting them with daily tasks relating to the development of the company's main product offering
  • Coordinate and manage projects related to electronic, hardware, and software development.
  • Collaborate with engineers, developers, and other team members to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Track project timelines, budgets, and milestones, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
  • Assist in risk management and mitigation strategies for project delivery.
  • Document project progress and prepare reports for management.

Requirements :

  • Ideally, a Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field but a candidate wouldn't be ruled out for not having a technical background
  • Knowledge or experience in electronic systems, hardware, and software development from a project management perspective
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies is a plus.
